“5 Songs in 5 Genres: R&B and Soul” is a way to express my never ending love for american black music from the seventies. If there’s a genre I am never tired to listen to, that’s exactly it: blaxploitation soundtracks (Superfly, Shaft, Trouble man) , works of artists like Chaka Khan and the Jazz Crusaders, or labels like Motown and Atlantic.
With this EP I hope I’ve captured all the passion and love I feel for this kind of music.
